MUKILTEO, Washington, January 31, 2008 – The most powerful member of Synrad's broad family of lasers, the firestar f400, 400W laser excels at many cutting applications that were once considered to be feasible only with flowing gas CO2 lasers. Dieboard cutting, cutting (and welding) steel, and high speed cutting of glass, plastics and composite materials are some of the many applications that are easily accomplished by the f400.

Using our Duo-Lase® technology to combine two firestar f201 lasers in a single package, the f400 produces a randomly polarized beam, ideal for complex cutting applications where kerf control is critical. With a near-perfect beam in both the near and far fields, and excellent power stability, the f400 is capable of outperforming even higher power lasers.

Easily mounted on a robotic arm or incorporated in large-area flatbed cutting systems, thanks to its integrated RF supply, the f400 brings the benefits of sealed technology to high power cutting applications.
