UC-2000 Universal Laser Controller Provides Complete Control of your Laser

MUKILTEO, Washington, August 2009 –

Compatible with Synrad's entire line of CO2 lasers, our UC-2000 laser controller provides an easy user interface for total control of laser power, duty cycle, and modulation frequency.

Power control is achieved by pulse width modulation (PWM) at selectable clock frequencies of  5, 10, and 20 kHz. The all-digital UC-2000, available in both standard or rack-mountable packages, features an easy-to-read LCD screen and simple set-up.

Current UC-2000 users, particularly our international customers, will be interested to know that the product now ships with a new, compact wall plug transformer to accommodate a wider range of input voltages. For use with all Synrad firestar series lasers, the AC transformer plugs into any 100-240VAC, 50/60 Hz wall outlet. 48-series lasers feature a built-in auxiliary power connector and do not require the transformer.
