firestar v40: 40 watt laser

With their compact size, excellent beam quality and fast rise times, our v30 and v40 provide users with the ultimate low power CO
2 laser tool. Ideal for integration into small cutting or marking systems, these lasers have an internal RF power supply and are available in either air or water-cooled versions. High power from an air-cooled laser with a near-perfect beam provides the ideal source for laser engravers and small-area cutting systems.

The vi30's resonator is based on the same waveguide design as our v30 model, producing a circular beam (typical M2=1.1) in both the near and far field. This near-perfect beam can be focused to the smallest achievable spot size, creating the maximum possible power density on a work surface. This results in faster processing speeds and higher resolution for most applications. A new, more efficient RF design, operating off 48 VDC, has enabled us to reduce the heat sinks to produce a 30W laser with a smaller overall footprint, and meet increasing market demands for more compact systems.

Maximum power and performance from an air-cooled CO2 laser is the drive behind our firestar ti-series technology. Synrad's firestar ti-series lasers are built on technology using a patented hybrid-unstable resonator design. This creates a compact laser with excellent beam quality that can be focused to the smallest achievable spot size, delivering the maximum possible power density on a work surface. The result is faster processing speeds, higher resolution and optimized quality for cutting, marking and engraving applications. With its high performance RF circuitry designed specifically to match its compact resonator, firestar ti-series lasers have typical rise times of better than 75µsec with outstanding square-wave performance.

firestar f201: 200 watt laser

Whether mounted on a robotic arm, integrated into a high-speed marking system, or incorporated into a large-area flatbed cutter, f-series lasers have the power, package, and capabilities to do the job fast, on-time, and in budget. For applications such as metal cutting and welding, dieboard cutting, complex signage, and textile processing, with power ranges from 100-400 watts, firestar f-series lasers deliver the highest performance at the best cost per watt.

The new Firestar i401 laser provides 400 watts of near-perfect beam quality from a single tube. Built around a hybrid waveguide/unstable resonator design, the i401 is driven by four field-replaceable integrated RF modules resulting in a rise time of less than 100 µs, which is 33% faster than existing f-Series lasers. Internal beam conditioning before the output aperture first conditions, collimates, and then rotates the linear beam polarization 45° as an aid in applications where a circular polarizer is used.
