Cutting 0.04 aluminum oxide paper with 125 watts at 125/ minute.
The thickness and abrasive nature of the aluminum oxide is a
challenge for mechanical cutters, often resulting in tool wear and deformation of the
paper. The laser cuts the sandpaper with no visible signs of thermal damage, and, as in
this example, offers the end-users the flexibility to create custom shapes.
