Process Date: March 2002

The paint coated plastic was marked using a Synrad Fenix Laser Marker and 80mm lens.  The text was marked at a speed of 5 inches per second using 10W, the barcodes were marked at a speed of 20 inches per second using 6W with a resolution of 300dpi.  

   The mark was created by ablating the painted coating from the surface of the plastic, leaving a contrasting image, which is easily read by a barcode scanner or the human eye.
