The gun barrel slide in the photo was marked using a 25W Synrad laser,
FH marking head, and 200mm lens. Using 10 passes with the laser,
the metal was marked at a speed of 20 inches per second, cycle time of
4.9s, with a spot size of 0.29mm. The painted surface from the metal
is removed during the lasing process, creating a contrasting mark.
