   Engraving Plastic

Process Date: May 2002

Using a 10W Synrad CO2 laser, FH marking head, and 370mm lens we were able to create readable engraved marks on the plastic door latch mechanism in the photo on the left.  The marks were made at a speed of 3 inches per second with a cycle time of 0.6 seconds.
