Extended Warranty Service Options

In addition to our Standard Warranties, Synrad now offers 3 different Extended Warranty/Service Coverage options that provide guaranteed service turn-around times and a warranty on repairs. The new Extended Warranty/Service programs are available for purchase at any time for lasers and scanning heads up to 6 years old (from original ship date). While Synrad lasers are known to last many years, electronic components tend to become obsolete much faster, making repairs of older lasers costly, and in some cases impractical. Synrad recommends choosing one of our programs to ensure minimal downtime and optimal productivity for you and your customers.
 

  Platinum/Concierge Care Program Gold/Essential Care Program Depot Advantage Program
Description Platinum/Concierge Care is a swap program1; if the unit requires service within the coverage period, a replacement unit (same or equivalent model; new serial number), no more than 12 months older than the unit sent in for service is shipped to the customer Gold/Essential Care is a swap program1; if the unit requires service within the coverage period, a replacement unit (same or equivalent model; new serial number), no more than 12 months older than the unit sent in for service is shipped to the customer Depot Advantage is a depot program2; if the unit requires service within the coverage period, the unit is sent to an Authorized Service Center (ASC) or Synrad Service Center (SSC) for service. The same unit is returned to the customer

1 - Swap Program 
With this option a replacement laser is shipped within 2 or 5 days of receipt of the service request. The replacement laser is the same or equivalent model, with a new serial# that is no more than 12 months older than the unit sent in for service.

2 - Depot Advantage Program 
Depot repair service is provided through a network of Synrad Service Centers (SSC) and Synrad Authorized Service Centers (ASC). Once received, service is performed by Laser Service Specialists using Synrad approved parts. When repairs are complete the laser (same serial#) is returned to the customer.
